Our Team

Robin J. Kohn, AIA, NCARB – President
Following his achievement as Director of Regional Engineering at Henkels & McCoy, Inc., Robin started Betzwood Associates in 1992 out of a desire to generate a workforce to address the growing need for design in the wireless communication arena.  Over the years, Robin has grown the company to expand into the fields of traditional architecture, electrical engineering and structural engineering.

Robin has worked on a variety of projects in his career.  While with Henkels & McCoy, Robin designed and oversaw the installation of a utility bridge across the St. John River in New Brunswick, Canada.  Robin also designed and oversaw major renovations for several manufacturing plants in the area, including Certainteed/St. Gobain, Atofina, N.A., and Owens Corning.  Robin performed design and oversaw the installation of fiberoptic communications systems for MCI and AT&T.  The design of voice communication and data systems for Merrill Lynch in buildings C & D of the World Financial Center in Manhattan was also Robin’s responsibility.

Robin took the experience he gained with Henkels & McCoy and used it to develop new clients for Betzwood Associates requiring design services for datacenters, wireless communications systems and pharmaceutical research.   Eventually, this developed into manufacturing, commercial buildings, single and multi-family residences, and a wide array of others. Robin has recently been retained as an expert by counsel for several residential contractors in the Delaware Valley.
